Today, I collapsed in a hotel bathroom after walking more than eight hours in the LA heat trying to secure help for my 7‑year‑old son, Apollo, and me. I became sick from heat exhaustion, overwhelmed, and defeated after hitting too many systemic dead ends in one day. My body gave out, and I realized I couldn’t keep pushing alone. We are in an emergency, and I need help now.

I’ve been raising Apollo since I was nineteen — mostly alone, without a safety net, and without family support. Over the years, I’ve completed hundreds of intake forms, interviews, and bureaucratic processes. I’ve done everything the system asked of me. But the system is slow, rigid, and often indifferent. It has not been able to meet our urgent needs, and today it became clear that we cannot survive this moment without community support.

This is an emergency.

We are in a fragile transition, and we need help covering immediate essentials:

• temporary housing

• food and basic needs

• medical care

• school stability for Apollo

• keeping my phone on so I can stay connected and safe

My phone plan is about to shut off. Without it, I lose access to work, communication, and safety. We are at a point where even small support makes a real difference.

Alongside this crisis, I carry a lifelong dream: to build a music career and honor my siblings, who worked in music and have tragically passed away. My lead single, From Nobody to Glory, is a tribute to their legacy — and to every person who has fought their way out of impossible circumstances. I want to build a future where Apollo and I are safe, stable, and able to pursue our dreams.
