Hi, my name is Michael Tenuto, and I’m a New York City–based educator dedicated to helping students grow not just academically, but as confident and globally aware individuals.

Every day, I work with students who have incredible potential, but many have limited exposure to the world beyond their immediate environment. I’ve seen how powerful real-world experiences can be in building confidence, curiosity, and a broader perspective on life.

That’s why I’m planning an international trip this August.

This is more than just travel—it’s an opportunity for me to immerse myself in a new culture, learn firsthand from different communities, and bring those experiences directly back to my students. My goal is to turn this journey into meaningful lessons, stories, and insights that make global education real and inspiring.

I plan to share what I learn through classroom discussions, real-world examples, and content that helps students see what’s possible beyond what they already know.

As an educator, I’m always looking for ways to grow so I can give more to my students—and this experience has the potential to make a lasting impact not just on me, but on every student I work with.
