As many of you know by now, I am in the process of committing myself to Gods will for my life and I have been accepted into the Teen Challenge program in Minden, LA. What some of you may not know is in order to go there I was selling my car to pay induction fees and the remainder of what I owed on my car. My car is now totaled as of Friday after I got into a pretty bad wreck on my way to buy supplies I would need for my 12-18 month stay at the discipleship program. I'm devastated but trying to stay faithful. A friend recommended I start a fundraiser to help me continue on my path to following Christ and completing this discipleship program. I come from a long line of addicts and alcoholics, it's something that has cursed my family on both sides for generations. I lost both my parents as a result of their own addict, and I'm determined to not follow in their steps. I have 3 beautiful little girls, whom I love with all of me. I desired to complete the teen challenge program so that I could be a virtuous woman, exemplifying Godly qualities and leading them with the wisdom, grace and strength that comes from following Christ! I know this is God's will for my life, I know he has a purpose for the pain I've suffered throughout my life and I believe it's to minister to young boys and girls that have experienced the same traumatic events I have. I'm praying if God sees fit I can work on becoming a youth minister after I graduate this program! Please if God has put it on your heart to help, donate what you can!
