Fundraising for a Safe Cat Enclosure in the Garden

I was forced into rescuing cats, little bundles of furry joy.  My 1st cat, raised from birth was killed by neighbours.  Soon a pattern emerged, the cats were injured, some needing veterinary care, later they were poisoned.  Fluffy was the last to be killed 4 years ago, an extraordinary cat who had lost her mother.  I overheard the perpetrators discussing where they disposed of her.  They even laughed while I frantically search for her.

My current 3 cats Chocolato, Tuppy & Fragolina last year were each showing signs of having been kicked or struck.  I also viewed their fear when a neighbour passed in the street.  That same neighbour walked over to my fence & said he would kill a cat.  For the next 6 months I heard he & his family talk of nothing else, they even mentioned the use of poison or running over a cat with a car.  Eventually I made the decision not to live in fear & locked the cats inside.  They cried & Fragolina often became hysterical, clawing at the windows & door, in an attempt to go out.  I tried using cat leads without success.  When I go out the cats have to be locked in the bedroom, they hate it & so do I.  In the heat I have been forced to stay inside in most of the day in order to allow them freedom of movement within the house.

Recently I made the decision to have a large cat enclosure made for the garden with a double door system so they can't escape.  The expense, now that my UK pension is much reduced, is something I can ill afford.  I also need 2 cat carriers to take them to & from the enclosure.

Eventually a summons/procura will be served on the perpetrators who have harassed me for 12 years.  While I coped with the harassment I can not bear the harming & killing of my rescue cats.
