Amelia is diagnosed with a PAK1 genetic mutation resulting in prolonged seizures. She recently experienced a week long seizure event which caused brain damage. Amelia can no longer walk, sit or hold her head up. She is going to spend time in inpatient rehab, however she is expected to have long term effects.
