Our sweet lover boy, Boosie, had a horrible accident resulting in a broken femur in his left hind leg. We had to make the unbearable decision…months of pain and trying to save his leg with no guarantee of success, or to let go of the leg. The decision was heartbreaking, and after many many questions and a lot of research, we decided to take the route that would get our fur baby feeling himself as soon as possible, and amputate the leg. After the most agonizing night you could imagine, scared if we made the right decision, we picked up our fur baby. He was immediately loving on us and wanting cuddles. He began moving around immediately, almost like nothing ever happened. He has done so well, toughest little guy in the world. We knew we made the right choice for our Boosie Baby. He's missing his sister, but thankfully only has a few days left till he can see her! Unfortunately, being financially struggling 22 year old students, the procedure and all the things that came with it have put us in a difficult spot.
