Hello there! My name is Michaela Smith and I'm widely known as Mikey Smith. My daughters name is Mia and we are fundraising for my attorneys retainer fee.

I want to remain respectful of Mia's other parents personal details and privacy: but for the purpose of this fundraiser, I think it's very important I let you know me.

My personality is direct yet kind, assertive yet thoughtful. My most common act of service is peace at any price, and that's been to both my grace and demise. For the last three years, her other parent and I have maintained divided custody through a verbal agreement, though it hasn't been without its challenges, I've been grateful we could keep our daughter from experiencing her parents in court.

Throughout those years, I have experienced violated boundaries, inconsistent communication and rude/inappropriate behavior. I've cooperated through all the challenges but recently been dealt with a card I will not be easy going about.
