On April 6th, 2026, my precious Neice Jaylah Monroe See arrived, bringing joy and a special mission. She was born with many complications and was diagnosed with a rare disease called GALD. Gestational Alloimmune Liver Disease (GALD) is a severe neonatal liver condition caused by maternal antibodies that cross the placenta. Diagnosis is primarily based on clinical evidence of neonatal liver failure and identifying extrahepatic iron overload (siderosis) in the liver, salivary glands, or pancreas, often without requiring a liver biopsy. Dispite the odds, Jaylah's first days shone bright, born full term at Fresno Hospital, she soon faced unforeseen complications, and her journey took a turn which left her to Valley Children's Hospital in Madera, Ca instead of coming home to us. Through multiple procedures and challenges, her parents stayed closely by her side, giving her love and bonding with her. Jaylah Monroe See left this world on April 30th, 2026, but her spirit remains a beacon of hope and inspiration. With heavy hearts, we seek the kindness of others to help lay baby Jaylah to rest.
