Furbaby (cats) surgeries!
-EDITED-
We have now found a new person willing to do the surgery for much cheaper. Thus lowering our goal from 3k to only $500. However Loki's eye surgery (when the time comes) will still have to be at the original vet and cost $600-$1,000. So any extra money earned will be saved for that surgery and the visits and meds. Currently he has a few visits already and tried a few meds and its cost a couple hundred.
Below is the original Fundraising statement. Everything remains the same but the new costs is now cheaper!
-EDITED-
We have three wonderful furbabies (aka cats). Angel and Peanut we adopted over 5 years ago as kittens from a Petsmart. Loki was about 3 months old when we got him over a year ago from under a neighbor's shed during the start of winter.
With recent checkups, it seems none of the cats are now doing well. Angel and Peanut, sisters of course, have some genetic issue that is affecting their teeth and gums. Vets have said at this point the only thing they can do is pull out all of Angels (siamese lynx) teeth and maybe half of Peanuts (the tabby). That alone is estimated to start at around $1,500 to $2,000. Not counting any meds they may need after or special foods at first.
To add to it Loki has had an eye issue they have been treating eye issues he has. Originally he had some sort of feline herpes of the eyes. But now the one eye also has some other issue and they have tried many costly meds and at this point they feel removing the eye may be the only solution. Could cost another $500 to $1,000.
We adore and love our pets as family. But as you know, things like this are very expensive and we just cannot afford the surgeries. The other option is to put them to sleep but that would be horrible as they all have very long lives ahead of them still. We are looking to this fundraiser to help pay the bills for the surgeries. Angel and Peanut go in Feb 27th. Loki's eye appointment is not known as of yet.
Anyone that can help, we would great appreciate it. To note we went with FreeFunder as not only are they easier to work with, but they will donate money for every so many donations we get. They also take a much smaller fee than places like GoFundMe do.
If you can help, thank you so much! If you can't, we understand and ask if you can share this! We will try to upload additional photos after the surgeries. Especially for those who know us on social media!
