Help George Fight AML
A lot can change when you least expect it. In December, George was diagnosed with MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome) following a bone marrow biopsy. By February, it had progressed rapidly to AML (acute myeloid leukemia).
He’s since undergone chemotherapy and faced serious complications, including sepsis from a hospital-acquired infection, requiring the removal of his PICC line.
Anyone who knows George knows how deeply he values health and fitness. He has approached this ordeal with strength, grace, and trust in his medical team, who continue to fight alongside him.
We’re hopeful that his upcoming biopsy will clear the path for a bone marrow transplant at Stanford.
We’ve put off asking for help, but the time is now.
We are seeking donations to help cover household bills as we focus entirely on George’s treatment and recovery.
Your support—whether financial, through sharing this message, or simply keeping us in your prayers—-means more than we can say.
With gratitude,
Sheila
