Geraghty Family Love

After years of serving his community as a firefighterDavid Geraghty has always been the one running toward danger to protect others and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Now, after a life-saving heart transplant, it’s our turn to surround him, and his family, with the same courage, strength, and love he’s shown to so many.

David’s journey hasn’t been easy. His heart transplant was a miracle that came after years of battling serious heart illness. But recovery will take time, and it’s a road the Geraghty family can’t walk alone.

For the next three months, David and his wife Dawn must remain very near the hospital, hours away from home, while he receives the constant care and monitoring essential to his recovery. During this time, neither David nor Dawn can work, and their 16-year-old twin boys, Noah and Brayden, are doing their best to manage their schoolwork, jobs, and their home, with the help of many friends and family.

The family’s faith has carried them this far, and they are trusting that God will continue to provide, often through the kindness and generosity of others.

Your support will help cover:

  • Temporary housing near the hospital
  • Travel, meals, and medical-related expenses
  • Household bills and everyday costs while both parents are unable to work

Every donation, no matter the amount, is an answered prayer and a reminder that this family is not alone. Even if you’re unable to give financially, please keep David, Dawn, and their boys in your prayers and share this fundraiser on social media so others can join in lifting them up.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for being part of David’s miracle story. 💚
