Get back on our feet
My husband and I are homeless and need help getting back on our feet. I was a live-in caregiver who had patiently waited to receive my pay at the request of the lady I took care of. Last year her husband passed away and she asked us to move in so she could continue to live in her home. With his passing her finances got tied up I'm probate. She asked if I could wait for my pay until probate court was over. Two weeks before her court date she brought in another person saying they were just there to help keep an eye on her because I had requested to move back into my RV. I had put it in storage and gave up the property I was buy because she promised she would make up for it. That person made my life a living nightmare for months. She even filed for eviction having them do it for her. We where still dealing with the county courts when she managed to get a Writ of Possession from the Justice of the Peace court. We lost everything. Our home(RV), our storage rooms, and everything we had in her house. Including our fur babies, including our two Support Animals. This time last year we had property, our home, fur babies and car. When I was physically pulled out of the house by the Constables I only had on my swim suit, T-shirt and sneakers. The Constables wouldn't let us grab anything saying the property owner HAD to put my things by the side of the road. They did not and the courts did nothing about the contempt of court they were doing. We have been homeless for a month and we can't get jobs. No one wants to hire someone who is homeless. I have tried getting help but have had no luck. We are desperate and truly need a break. Shelters are full and will separate us which we don't want that. I can get one of my Support Animals back home only if I had a home.
