Get Deb to the Specialist

As many of you know, Deb Seely has endured chronic illness for over a decade now, keeping her from living her life. In the meantime, other illnesses were found, including having a stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney stones, and becoming legally blind in one eye. In the midst of this, she was finally able to get insurance and has been under the care of several doctors. Still, some of the odd symptoms persisted and after a cardiac loop monitor was placed, a nuclear/pharmacological stress test, and a heart stent placement, she was sent for a tilt table test. From there, she received a diagnosis that explained why she often felt like she was going to pass out. (A terrifying prospect for someone who lives alone.)

The tilt table test proved she had something called Dysautonomia. That is an umbrella term for several conditions where the body's autonomic nervous system doesn't work properly and it can cause all kinds of issues, most notably, passing out due to blood pressure drops. In order to further pin-point which kind of Dysautonomia she has, Deb needs to see a Dysautonomia Neurologist. Thankfully, there is one in St. Louis that will take her insurance. But she still has to get there. We are asking you, her friends and family, to help her get to the specialist. We are needing to fundraise for the cost of renting a car, the gasoline, a hotel room, and the lost wages for a driver to take her to St. Louis. We are still waiting for a definite appointment date. The doctor has two offices that are booking quite a ways out, however, one office may have an appointment open in late March. That's not very long to raise the $1,500 we have set as our goal.

We are asking you to help in 3 different ways: First, we ask that you pray for this to all work out and that she can finally get the help she needs. Second, we ask that you would please share this fundraiser on your social media wall as often as you can. And third, we ask that if it is possible, that you would donate to the fundraiser. Every little bit helps and there is no fee to whomever donates, nor to Deb. They will ask you if you want to donate extra to the hosting platform, but it is totally optional. We appreciate anything you can do to help.
