Hi, it's me Derek, I'm trying to fix the problem, it's me. The problem I'm trying to fix with my online yoga studio Yoga for All Humans is accessibility barriers to wellness, particularly in the yoga industry. Our mission is to provide accessible yoga, from both financial and physical ability perspectives. Here's a video to learn more about our mission! I consider the studio a for-profit, for-good studio. Trust me though, we're a farrrrrrr way away from making a true profit. (Our monthly memberships now start at only $25/month!)

If you know me, you know I NEVER ask for money. We didn't even have a wedding registry or new home owner registry. Now is the time to be humble and ask for your help with something that may be just what my yoga studio needs to thrive!

If I've bought you a drink, hosted you at one of my parties, bought you a wedding/baby present, etc. I'm calling in the favor!

I have the opportunity to be on a reality competition show called The Blox. I'm 1 of 100, narrowed down from 5,000+ applications on an upcoming season! We'll be recording my season in mid March. On this show, different entrepreneurs from all over compete to prove that their startup is the best of the best! Because the show is mostly self funded by producers who are also self-made entrepreneurs, I have to cover travel expenses and other miscellaneous expenses to be on the show. The show is now streaming on Amazon Prime, so there's a lot of exposure opportunities to investors and yoga students for the studio!

No amount is too small. Even if I don't reach my goal of $3,000, I appreciate every penny! <3
