A member of my family has been in London England since May 2024. Initially he was transferred from Canada to London for work related duties. During his absence, the organization he was working for collapsed and as a result he has been stranded in London facing litigation for matters out of his control. Tremendous effort has been put in over the past seven months to gather funds for purposes of living expenses and legal fees related to the litigation, However the options of finding additional financial resources have been depleted as of November 2024. The extended stay in London and the convoluted legal processes have led to deterioration of his mental health. In a very short period of time he could also be facing immigration issues related to the extended stay in the United Kingdom.
