Our friend Starlite ("Star") has been in King County Correctional Facility for the past two months and still doesn't have a confirmed release date.

The good news is that she is eligible to be released on bail. We already have someone willing to sign for her—we just need to raise the funds to make it happen.

If you know Star, you know she's so much more than the mistake that brought her here. She's a kind, caring, GIVING person and she has a huge network of family and friends who love and support her. Star has helped so so many of us, now we need to step up and help her!!

Like so many people, she made a serious mistake after getting caught up with the wrong crowd. She's taking responsibility for her actions and wants nothing more than the chance to move forward and rebuild her life.

Being released would allow Star to finally secure the housing she's now eligible for, reconnect with her loved ones, and focus on creating a stable future instead of remaining behind bars while waiting for the next steps in her case.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward Star's bail. If there are any remaining funds after her release, they will be used to help her get back on her feet with essentials like clothing, toiletries, transportation, and other basic needs as she transitions back into the community.
