My mother had a severe stroke a few weeks ago.

They said she only had a few days to live after that, but being the amazing woman that she is, instead of declining and passing away, she has actually improved and is winning where they predicted she would fail!

She is now able to speak, slowly and carefully, and she can move her right arm from the elbow and her right hand, and she can even sing a little bit and called me to prove it by singing Mary had a little lamb...so sweet, but also sorta heart wrenching, yet inspiring as well...

Just hard all around, but I'm glad she is still with us...I wish I could visit, but it's too far away...

The hospital is busy taking good care of her, and hopefully soon she will be able to go home with full time care where she lives, and that would be ideal for her.

In the meantime, I'm sure it's no fun in there because hospital stays are never fun...

That's why I want to do something to cheer her up and remind her that I'm thinking about her..

Of course sending Flowers is pretty much the only way to do that, and I already did it once when this all first happened, and she loved it....and so sending her another one would be so great...the only problem is that I can't afford it! I couldn't afford the last one either because they are not cheap, and I am so poor and on my own....So that's why I am reaching out to my friends now....I hope you guys will pitch in so that I can send her a really lovely big bunch of roses (choices are limited for hospital bouquets), a couple dozen is my wish for her.

It's been so hard because she lives 2730 miles away from where I live, and I'm not able to travel there to see her, so sending flowers is the best thing I can do to express how much I love her and wish her well.

I hope you all realize that Its extremely embarassing for me to have to ask for help with this, I mean at my age I should be able to handle the cost of sending flowers to my sick mother, but the truth is I just can't! I'm sorry for that!! I really am!! Please don't judge me, please just help me with this small but huge thing to brighten her hospital room and fill her heart with love.

My mom is a special lady, her name is Corinne for those of you who don't know. She is beautiful and I love her so much.
