I lost my full-time job in January and since then, life has been a constant struggle. I started working at Amazon, but because I was a seasonal worker without paid time off, I lost that job when I got sick. Now, I'm doing gig work wherever I can, but the costs are piling up and it's barely enough to cover my basic expenses. My cars are breaking down and it's getting harder to keep up with repairs. If I pay my rent, I can't afford any other bills, and if I cover my bills, I fall behind on rent. 

In April, my dog got sick and I had to cover vet bills, which made it even harder to stay afloat. I have a dog and cats who depend on me, and sometimes it feels like I have to choose between feeding them or myself. They have food, but I’ve been eating a lot of Ramen just to make sure they’re cared for. 

On top of all this, I've had to stop taking my medication for anxiety and mood stabilization because I simply can't afford it. It's scary to be in this position, but I'm determined to keep going and find a way out. I would use any funds raised to pay my rent, fix up my car, and get rid of the older one so I can secure a better job with health benefits. Getting back on my medication is crucial for my well-being, and having some stability would help me move forward.
