For the last three years, I have been in a very toxic relationship. I have taken some steps, such as calling the police, getting a TPO, and even retreating to family. It only lasted so long before I was manipulated into coming back. I am trying to leave, and most available programs are hard since I have a small pet and long waitlists. I am only looking for support so that I can pay more upfront for an apartment. My ex has put me in financial debt with collections that make it difficult to get out of paycheck to paycheck at the moment. I am in a survivors group and am learning to heal, even with the madness.
