I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help getting my little girl ready for kindergarten, but sometimes life takes you places you never expected.

I’m a single mom who has recently found the strength to leave an abusive situation involving my daughter’s father. We are starting over and trying to rebuild our lives, one step at a time. Right now, things are financially difficult, and I’m struggling to provide some of the things she needs for her first year of school.

My daughter is an amazing, kind, and incredibly special little girl. She deserves to walk into her kindergarten classroom feeling confident, excited, and proud on her first day — with clothes that fit, shoes on her feet, and the school essentials she needs to feel ready to learn and make new friends.

I’m asking for help with something that may seem small, but means so much to us: new school clothes and supplies she needs.

I’m not asking for a handout to make life easier. I’m asking for a little help while I work to build a safe, stable, and better future for my daughter.
