In summer 2025, I will be returning to a place of passion by conducting a Global Independent Study in the Dominican Republic and Haiti to address the Haitian mental health epidemic and support the ongoing work of Buildling Bridges of Hope. As part of my pursuit of my Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan, I will be traveling, serving, and researching alongside the tireless volunteers conducting mobile medical clinics for remote communities of Haitian refugees along the border. I need your support for my project to have the greatest possible impact. I am raising money to support this MENTAL HEALTH PILOT PROJECT. Funds raised will support travel expenses, critical medical supplies, nutrition, and overhead costs for the ongoing education and medical services provided by the staff and volunteers of Buildling Bridges of Hope.
