Tone and Jackie are youth mentors and musicians who dedicate their lives to helping the world in every way they can. We've been dear friends since 2000 when Tone (sounds like Tony) and I traveled with the African Children's Choir, living on the road with 24 kids, mentoring and discipling and doing all the choir tour things. Since then, Tone has been mentoring and teaching music to children with various non-profit organizations, along with writing his own worship music. Jackie is a teacher and mentor, together they raise their four gorgeous children. When COVID hit, Tone's job disappeared. Ever creative, he came up with the idea to start a grocery and goods shop out of his home to provide for the dire needs of his community in Kampala, Uganda, who were suffering from severe food insecurity with lockdowns and job loss. Many of you helped fund the start of the shop, which is still going strong! Tone and fam host a weekly after-school meal program through the shop, as well as hand out food to those in need on holidays and as often as they're able. (In fact, when we sent money for their kids for Christmas, their amazing kiddos decided to use it to give out more food!)

In order to expand their awesome work and provide more comprehensively for his family and community, Tone is expanding to goats! Becoming a goat farmer, he can provide and sell cheese and milk. We've sent some money to help build the enclosure on his sisters land, and we just need to stock it with goats! Will you help us do that?
