My name is Christin (or Chrissii). I'm a single mom of four, a Criminal Justice Major, and someone who knows firsthand what it feels like to face hardship without a safety net. This has been on my heart and in my to-do list for years. And now, I'd like to make it happen with the help of other single moms/young parents (or those who used to be or just have this mission on their hearts as well.)

I'd like to build something that I wish I had years ago, when I was at the lowest point in my motherhood journey, and I really had nowhere to turn. I want to build a safe haven for mothers, furnished with housing, support, childcare, and hope for a better future.

I'm launching Grace Village: A housing community in Tennessee (we may be able to branch to other states if this gets big enough) that includes:

-Affordable housing for single/young mothers and their children

-A 24-hour daycare center (which mother's in the community can volunteer their time to help with their housing costs)

-A learning center to teach real-world skills and job training (may be able to provide guidance for things like child support navigation, divorce help, family support groups, etc. really depends on how far this project goes.)

-A community kitchen where the community can have prepared meals (and also volunteer time to help with their housing expenses)

-A safe space for healing, rebuilding, and rising strong

This project is more than shelter- it's about dignity, opportunity, and breaking cycles for families who deserve more.

-Grant writing services and consulting

-Property surveying and zoning fees

-Down payment on land or facilities

-Licensing for the daycare center

-Startup supplies for the learning center

-websites and marketing to reach more families and funders
