Grieving & Struggling
I never imagined I’d be in this position — reaching out for help like this. But life has hit me harder than I was prepared for, and I’m doing everything I can just to hold on.
Not long ago, I lost my brother to suicide. That sentence alone still doesn’t feel real. While trying to process the shock and heartbreak, I had to cover his funeral expenses — something no one is ever truly ready for. There was no extra support. No safety net. Just me.
On top of that, I’ve been dealing with serious medical issues of my own. The bills came fast and high, and they’ve left me struggling to keep up with the essentials: rent, car payments, and insurance — all now at risk.
I’ve barely had space to grieve. It’s like I was thrown into survival mode and never allowed to come up for air. I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat, but it’s not enough right now — so I’m asking for help.
I’m hoping to raise $8,000 to catch up on the most urgent needs: two months’ rent, car payments, and registration fees — enough to give me a chance to breathe again and start healing.
Every bit — no matter how small — truly helps. And if you’re not able to give, even just sharing this means more than you know.
Thank you for reading this. And thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for any support you can give.
