I am a mother in Los Angeles currently experiencing homelessness and struggling day-to-day just to eat and survive. I recently went through an unimaginable tragedy losing my son, and the grief combined with severe depression has made it incredibly hard to get back on my feet. My only income right now is $221 a month in General Relief, which does not cover basic daily necessities. I am safely asking the community for any direct financial help to secure regular meals, hygiene essentials, and a safe place to stay.
