Guerrilla Journalism

I became a guerrilla journalist after suffering a corrupt criminal system.

I'm doing everything I can to bring awareness and voice to the voiceless, despite suffering slander and bullying for years, even by the Mayor himself.

I have filed several DORA complaints with many hours of research to successfully remove a non-licensed doctor and his pharmacist wife from practice. One resulted in a veterinarian being supervised after State findings.

I have brought to light our local school districts lack of compliance with state standards. Our law enforcements lack of compliance with reporting crime data. I've covered what our local 'official newspaper' refuses to. A corrupt local government. Google: Colorado and any of these: Ouray County Sheriff - Sherwood Ridgway - Myrl Serra 7th Judicial - Sexual Assault Ridgway / Ouray - 5 man sting Montrose - Ridgway Marshal - #mayorjohnclark for an indicator.

After enduring a drawn out criminal case involving my family and after successfully running two business for many years, I became brutally aware of why so many of my clients, friends and acquaintances throughout my 20 years here had such a hard time being heard during their family crises.

I intend to change at least our little valley in the world we all thought was utopic.

I am approaching the end of researching, recording, labeling and cataloging 10,000 documents and recordings to compile into complaints to several agencies within the State of Colorado and Federal Agencies. I intend to also write several articles drawn from historical documents to help reveal 20 years of what I believe and has been proven to be a hideous underbelly in the most beautiful part of Colorado.

Now being an empty nester after 19 years of single parenting, I have the time, but few resources. I would be very grateful for any help in my attempt to bring change for the future citizens of Ridgway and Ouray Colorado.
