“Faith Over Hardship: Help Me Rebuild My Life”

At just 23 years old, I find myself in a season of life I never imagined—facing homelessness, unemployment, and uncertainty about where I’ll lay my head from night to night. But even in the midst of hardship, I am holding on to my faith in God, trusting that this is not the end of my story.

I am a young man who is determined to rise above my circumstances. Every day is a fight—not just for stability, but to stay grounded spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Living in a fast-paced city like Atlanta comes with many distractions and challenges, and without a steady support system or mentor to guide me, I rely heavily on my relationship with God to keep me focused and moving forward with integrity.

Despite everything, I have the drive to work, to grow, and to build a better future for myself. I’ve been actively searching for employment, exploring different opportunities, and doing my best to remain strong-minded and disciplined. But the reality is, without stable housing, consistent rest, or the basic resources to present myself well, it’s incredibly difficult to secure and maintain a job.

This fundraiser is not about asking for a handout—it’s about asking for a hand up. The goal is to raise enough to cover daily essentials, temporary safe sleeping arrangements, transportation, and basic needs like hygiene and clothing so I can present myself as the respectable, hardworking young man I know I am. With just a little support, I can position myself to gain stable employment and ultimately provide for myself independently.

As the oldest of eight children, I carry a deep sense of responsibility to set an example. My family does what they can to support me, but they are also facing their own struggles. I don’t want to become dependent on anyone—I want to stand on my own, build my life the right way, and show my siblings that no matter how hard life gets, you can keep pushing forward with faith and determination.

I truly believe that with God’s guidance and the kindness of others, I can turn this situation around. Your support—no matter how big or small—can help me take real steps toward stability, purpose, and a fresh start.
