Hard Times and losses

Everyone has experienced loss. Everyone is feeling hardships in one form or another.

To say it has been overwhelming for me, is an understatement.

My mother died the same day I lost my job. The toll on my family was immense, but the trauma done to my soul is irreparable.

I still am not employed, but my resume has been sent out numerous times. My health tanked, both physically and mentally.

My husband and I went through a very low point in our marriage and I moved out to my own little place. He had moved out as soon as our house was put into market. That was over a year ago.

We grew so much as we’re separated. We took the time to simply talk and worked hard to rid the societal expectations. We returned to one another this past December. Finding that paying more in rent and still paying on our mortgage is impossible to maintain and no one is really interested in that house. As soon as the lease is up, we will return to the house.

My sister and I are trying to find the time to meet at our Mama’s house to prepare it for sale. My sister lives roughly 150 miles away, whilst I live 300 miles away. We made a promise to each other we would work on that house together, so finding a meshing of schedule has been difficult. The emptiness felt in our parents’ absence is vast and sometimes crippling.

Credit card debt, health issues and the cost of medications, are hitting us so very hard. My husband is footing all the financials, but it’s becoming increasingly difficult. Hotel room and gas costs are painful too.

My greatest fear is not honoring my parents as they should be and that I am a horrible burden on my family.

$10,000 would help immensely. I can pay off all of my debt with a little left over to help with travel to and from my Mama’s place.

This is such a difficult time for all…and it pains me to ask…but anything would be of help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
