Hardship Help
I have been cancer free for 12 years!
My doctor says I have latent effects from chemotherapy and radiation to my chest. My Dr. has filed permanent disability for me. I have had to retire early from my teaching career. I have applied for social security with a lawyer, I hope to be granted disability soon.
In the mean time, I have fallen on hard times. My son was murdered in our family home (I discovered him, the most horrific experience you can imagine). He was unresponsive when I found him, but when I adopted him, he made me promise to “never give up,” on him. I began CPR while 911 was called. While giving him CRP, I had a major heart attack (myocardial infarction). The scars from the cancer treatment had blocked two arteries. Leading me to having CABG x2 ( Cornary Artery Bypass with a double graft harvested from me). I have had to have multiple bypasses on my left subclavian artery to restore blood flow to my left arm and to my brain.
While waiting for disability I have exhausted my savings. I am currently listing my home for sale. Any donations will help me stress less about my mortgage (until the place sells), car payment, basic living expenses and support myself and my dependent daughter, until I am approved with Social Security or heal whichever come first.
I am wishing and waiting on a miracle, they happen everywhere. Thank you for your time. Love like it is the last day you have and make it wonderful.
