Hello to all our friends, family, and neighbors!

We are making a request on behalf of a very sweet girl named Pippa. Pippa has had a rough start to life but has a chance to live a long healthy life with a special heart surgery. If you're able to maybe forego a coffee this week for Pippa’s sake and donate $5 to help make her surgery possible that would be amazing! If not, we understand and would just ask you to share this request with some others you know because that would help too!

Pippa and 3 siblings were found abandoned in a rural area in NW Washington at about 8 weeks old. All 4 puppies were very sick and unfortunately they did not all survive. Of those that did, Pippa was about 1/3 the size of the others and once she was examined it was clear why...it was her heart. Pippa was 2.9 lbs at 10 weeks old when she came to live with us after she was diagnosed with a combination of 4 separate congenital heart defects as well as several other ailments and abnormalities. Pippa wasn't given a very good prognosis, but with rest, medicine and lots of love she grew to 5.2 lbs and has enjoyed lots of adventures and fun puppy things. Pippa is now 7 months old and unfortunately, 2 weeks ago she started showing some concerning symptoms and it was determined that she was in congestive heart failure. It happened earlier than anyone thought, but the Dr.'s had some possible good news...there is a surgery that she can have now that she's a bit bigger and stronger.

Pippa's Dr.'s feel very optomistic about her procedure and we are all very hopeful that she will come through healthier and live a long, happy life. Thank you for having a heart for Pippa and considering her for your donation, your shares and your healing thoughts! 🐾❤️
