I am 61 years old down on my luck lost everything. I'm not proud of the fact that I made a few mistakes a few bad choices that ended me up in prison. Now that I'm out and stuck in a halfway house with no transportation in the middle of nowhere. I feel bad l can't do the things I used to do.I have two prosthetic implants in my elbows that has taken out of my career.I also have a torn meniscus arthritis in my left knee that makes it difficult to walk or stand in one place for long period of time. I have no transportation I have a license but I can afford a car because I have no money. I filed for disability and was rejected. I applied for many jobs but no one wants to hire a broken down old man with a record. I have carpentry skills in general contracting skills I've been in the business for over 40 years I was a site supervisor and project manager. suffer from major depression disorder PTSD anxiety and ADHD. I have been becoming very depressed lately and can't seem to see any light at the end of the tunnel.

The only thing I can think of is starting my own business but I have no money to start with. All I'm asking for in life is a second chance I'm really not a bad person I just made some terrible mistakes. My girlfriend of 6 years that I dearly loved died while I was in prison and with her dying everything I owned is gone. I'm finding it very hard to start over in life again. I am a veteran down on my luck.

This is a very hard thing for me to do as a proud American man that served and truly did work hard all my life.

I am praying that I can have some kind people in this world just help me out even if it's just sending me $1 if I get enough people in this world to send me $1 I think I will be fine.I plan on giving back with that money once I get on my own feet. I've always been type of person that would help people out when I had it to help them. I 100% believe in paying it forward I just need the chance to get on my feet first.
