One of the things I love the most about being a Lincoln Academy Blue Tiger is the love, concern and comraderie between fellow Tigers, regardless of what year we graduated.

We were and for many of us, still are, a big extended family. When 1 Tiger is in need, we come to their rescue. Im relying on this spirit to help us through this fundraising project.

One of our 1885 Classmates, Clinton Cason, aka "Cool Breeze", who played football for our school, was one of LA's coldest rappers and who was loved by almost everyone who knew him, transitioned from this life in January of 2010. Many of us, his brothers and sisters and classmates, attended his services but what we didn't know and what I recently learned, BREEZE was buried, but to this day doesn't have a headstone.

Upon discovering this, a few of us, began working to raise funds, not just to honor and respect a fallen classmate, but also in love and support of his mother, his sister and family.

Since Breeze's sister, Cynthia Cason-Byrd, (also a Lincoln Tiger) and mother selected and approved the headstone they prefered, all the ground work has been done, and now all that is left is raising the funds to pay for it.

This is where you come in. We are asking our Lincoln Tiger family, our falilies and friends to donate whatever you can to help us reach our goal.

Once purchased and placed, we plan to hold a memorial service at the grave site to which all who contribute will be invited to come help us honor our brother the way he should be honored.

Our fundraising goal for this project is $4000 based on the cost of the headstone and encryption Breeze's mother requested. Will you join us in honoring our brother and fellow Tiger? No matter where we go in life, we will always be Lincoln Tigers for life!
