It’s with a heavy heart that we update our fundraiser to announce our mom, Joni Morgan’s passing, on January 26, 2025. As she has always wished, she was surrounded by her most loved and cherished ones. Mom has been a warrior through out her life, but she gave this battle with cancer everything that she had and went out putting up the ultimate fight. Our mother is the epitome of loyalty, family and friends, and cherishing a good laugh with a drink in hand. I know it comes as a surprise to many, as Joni has a sparkle about her that sticks with every person that she meets, but this battle has been fierce and in her true nature she did not want to burden anyone with worry about her condition. She did not want to dwell on the unforeseen and instead focus on the future full of good things. She does not want anyone to grieve her loss but instead to cherish the good memories and celebrate this life that she has lived, while laughing at silly morbid jokes and reminiscing on good times. Our wishes as her family is just to respect her privacy and honor her legacy. Initial Services will be kept private/ invitation only for close family, and a celebration of her life will follow for public-TBD.
