HCF (Healthy and Free of Cancer)

Hello!!! My name is Nadege Petit-Frere. President of an organization named HCF (Healthy and Free of Cancer). After the earthquake that destroyed a large part of the Haitian capital (Port-Au-Prince), on January 12, 2010, this organization has been given as the main task of educating the population on the need to prevent cancer. A disease that is new for this population. But we also help people who suffer from this disease. Paying medical assistance, psychological therapies when there is a need for this, operations and especially chemotherapy. Currently we have already helped save more than 17 people who live healthily. But there are also some who unfortunately lost the battle. Above all I remember the case of a 12-year-old girl who had acute myeloid leukemia. She was a very happy girl despite her condition, she was a very kind personan. She was also a great entertainer but unfortunately she could not win the battle. It was very painful for his family and for the members of the organization. Many of us loved this girl as if she were our own daughter. But now we want to fight these diseases that sometimes destroy families and friendships. But this struggle has become more difficult because this organization lacks the necessary funds to help those in need.

We have a very particular case of a young single mother, named Antoinette. Her husband died in the earthquake. With our help she managed to have a small business, with which she was able to support her family, made up of two girls. One of 11 years and another of 7 years. But he has been diagnosed with breast cancer. And it needs an operation urgently. She, of course, can not pay for this medical intervention. That is why I contact our organization, in view of being able to pay for this operation. At this moment, our situation is very difficult. But we have managed to gather more than 88,000 gourdes that is equal to about 1300 US dollars. The operation will cost about fifteen thousand (15,000) dollars.

A friend of mine spoke of this page that has helped hundreds of people in need, and that is why I come back to this page to save a life more. And so save a life more and at a time to prevent two girls from remaining orphans and that they can continue with his beloved mother.
