My name is Queen, and I’m a single mother raising two wonderful kids. Five years ago, while I was pregnant with my first child, I suffered a stroke. Doctors discovered it was caused by a hole in my heart called a PFO. Since then, I’ve been living with the fear that another blood clot could take me away from my children. The only way to protect myself and be there for my kids is to have a closure surgery as soon as possible.

The past few years have been incredibly challenging. I’ve always been the person to help others, and I raised myself after a childhood filled with hardship and abuse. I promised myself that if I ever had children, I would give them a better life. Now, I’m fighting to keep that promise. The surgery and recovery will take 2-6 months, and I’ll need help covering medical bills, essentials for my children, and support during my recovery.
