Help 4 Dozer

This is Dozer, a 16 month old Cane Corso, who is in a really bad situation and desperately needs help.

He is from a very difficult situation where he has been raised in a bedroom and kept on a leash and muzzle every time he comes out of the room. For the last 6 months he only leaves the bedroom to go outside to the bathroom and then back to the bedroom. The owner is scared of his size and capabilities (the owner has a number of medical disabilities keeping him from properly caring for him). The owner wants to give the dog away to someone who will take on Dozer's full size and strength. Rescues do not currently have a spot to take him in so the owner is wanting to just give him away.

I have temperament tested Dozer and worked with him a few times and he is an amazingly gentle giant and great with EVERYONE he meets. I have a very extensive history in animal medicine, animal control, behavioral and obedience training. Therefore, I am wanting to take this giant baby into my home as a PERMANENT resident, but do not have the immediate funds to provide everything this poor baby needs.

He has not seen a vet in over a year, not vaccinated, nor current on heartworm prevention. He is about 15-20 pounds underweight and needs a better quality food. The owner provides only minimal amount (roughly 4 cups a day) of food as he doesn't have money to buy the proper amount or quality of food every month.

During my evaluation of Dozer I took him to multiple locations where people, dogs and kids were all present and he did amazingly well! I believe he could be an amazing dog and companion with the right setting and dedication to training.

I have reached out to a number of rescues and no one has an open spot for him, so I want to help this baby in any way possible so I am trying to raise funds to be able to get this beautiful boy out of the situation he is currently in so that he can thrive and become a loved member of my home.

In the hopes of bringing this baby home as soon as possible I have decided to create an amazon registry and a few other links so items can be purchased directly instead of through donations through this platform.

YOU can choose what your money is going to and how you want to help Dozer with his next adventure.

I have tried to break everything down as much as possible so that there is absolute clarity in what I am needing and doing with all the help and money fort his baby.

I have included my Venmo and CashApp name so that if you able to help you can pick one of those as well.

I am grateful for ANY help to help this baby.
