I am Norberto, set up this fund raiser to help my close family member (cousin) with an emergency circumstance of facing homelessness.

Who needs to relocate safely and immediately.

She experienced homelessness once in life and for the last 26 years developed stability. and then current home a 12 year resident until she couldn't deal with the lack of repairs any longer, including no heat.

For 12 years, my cousin nearing 60 years of age, disabled, home bound has been a quiet anchor for so many people in life. Living on a strict fixed income, she has poured her heart into caring for others—including her feral cat colony she has loved, fed, and safely managed (TNR) for over a decade, in N.Y.. Now, she urgently needs help. After advocating for basic living conditions like working winter heat, she was hit with a massive, retaliatory rent increase and an eviction notice. Despite her serious health issues, local systems failed to protect her. She was given a timeline to pack up 12 years of her life on an extremely low income, while navigating severe nerve damage in her spine, limbs, and a recent urgent cardiac evaluation for fainting spells.

Determined to break free from this toxic situation, we found a lifeline: for her. USDA Direct Home Loan. Currently in the active underwriting stage of USDA loan process, which takes 4 to 6 weeks or more. This loan is a miracle that ensures she wont ever face homelessness again.

However, her New York landlord is forcing her out by July 31st. She continues paying rent monthly. We are making sure this situation will not ever happen to her again.

She is 97% packed but faces an immediate 30-60 day gap where she will be temporarily displaced without housing, and temporarily without her medical insurance. No insurance, no daily aid or medical treatment. Because of her severe physical disabilities, she cannot lift, load, or drive. She also refuses to abandon her beloved rescue cats, who will be successfully socialized once moved with her in a new home . Setting up this campaign to raise the critical "bridge funds" needed to safely transition her and the 4 feral cats during these next 30-60 days. This period of 30-60 days of safe housing is recommended by her doctors, as displacement would be hazardous to health conditions.

• A Moving POD: Because only two family members are available to load her life up, a traditional one-day truck move is physically impossible. A POD allows us to load safely over time, short period of time •

Temporary Discretionary Housing: A temporary, pet-friendly space for 30-60 days where she and her cats can safely wait out the USDA closing period, avoiding a high-stress motel that cannot accommodate her rescues. • Continuity of Medical Care: To protect her health during this high-stress move, Private funding are desperately needed for her dedicated daily medical aid for a few weeks. This ensures she is never left alone or at risk of injury while transitioning between state insurance plans.

Helping hands are desperately needed to build this temporary bridge to safety. My family member has spent her life giving to people and animals.. Moving out of state, once in a temporary rental she can apply for insurance benefits getting the medications needed, and home aid. Sadly I'm one of two people, family that can help and our funds have depleted. We lost many family members to Corona.

For right now she must vacate July 31st, 2026. court stipulation.

She is a giver not a taker and say's God will find a way and refuses to ask for help. She's correct God will find a away and this is why I have made this fund raiser for her.
