Hi everyone — I’m putting this fundraiser together for a close friend who truly needs support right now. They would never ask for help themselves, so I’m stepping in because they deserve a chance to finally get some relief.

My friend has been living with severe back pain since 2018. What started as something small has grown into something that affects every part of their daily life. Over the years, the pain has progressed tremendously — limiting their mobility, their comfort, and their ability to function without constant struggle. They’ve pushed through it for as long as they could, but it’s reached a point where this surgery is absolutely necessary.

The procedure is scheduled for March 10th. Even with insurance, there’s a $500 copay that must be paid upfront. My friend lives on disability income, and anyone who has ever been in that situation knows how unforgiving it is. There’s no room to save quickly and no emergency cushion to fall back on. The timing is tight, and the system doesn’t leave much flexibility.

I’m asking for help on their behalf because they shouldn’t have to choose between their health and their basic expenses. They’ve carried this pain for years without complaining, and they’ve done everything they can on their own. Now they just need a little help to get over this last hurdle.
