Unpaid Maturity leave

I don't normally do things like this, and if you know my little sister, you know she's definitely not one to ask anyone for help—which is exactly why I'm doing it for her. ❤️

My sister has always been extremely independent and hardworking. She's always worked, paid her own bills, and handled whatever life threw at her. When our mom passed away, she even stepped up and paid for her funeral.

The business she lived and worked at for years had a change of ownership and eventually closed. She lost not only her job, but also her home that was on the same property.

Since then, she's rented a home for $1,300 a month, found another job but making less money, but still managed to continue supporting herself and her kids.

She now has four children—three older boys and her brand-new baby boy. 💙 She had her bills planned around her expected delivery date, but little man decided to make his entrance about two weeks early. That meant she had to stop working sooner than expected, leaving her short on what she had planned for her bills.

Her boyfriend does work and contributes to the household, but one income simply isn't enough to cover all of their regular bills and financial obligations while she's unexpectedly out of work.

Right now, they're about $1,000 short on rent, and that's the immediate need I'm trying to help her with.

I'm helping her financially as much as I possibly can and will continue to, but I can only do so much on my own. So I decided to reach out and see if we could come together and take some of this stress off her while she recovers and adjusts to life with a newborn.

Even $5, $10, or simply sharing this can make a difference. This isn't someone who's used to asking for help—it's a hardworking mom who hit an unexpected rough spot and just needs a little help getting through it until she's able to get back to work.

Thank you to everyone who donates or shares. It truly means more than you know. ❤️💙
