Help a Mom of 4 Rebuild
My name is Emily, and I am a single mother of four asking for emergency help to secure safe, stable housing, save our only vehicle, and catch up on urgent household bills.
This year, my family was affected by two separate serious vehicle accidents. My son and I were injured in one accident, and shortly afterward, my daughter was seriously injured in another. She continues to receive treatment for a traumatic brain injury and has frequent medical appointments. These accidents, combined with my own health limitations, have caused significant financial and emotional hardship.
My children and I are temporarily living with family in severely overcrowded conditions that are no longer sustainable. I am trying to move closer to my children’s schools and my daughter’s medical providers. Our only vehicle is also at risk. It is essential for getting my children to school and appointments and for earning income through independent delivery work.
My $25,000 goal would be used for:
• $12,000 for rent and housing stability
• $1,500 for a security deposit
• $5,382 for six months of vehicle payments
• $1,734 for six months of automobile insurance
• $1,200 for moving and storage expenses
• $3,184 for utilities, school necessities, medical transportation, and other urgent household bills
The first $5,000 raised would help cover immediate move-in expenses, bring the vehicle payment current, and pay essential moving and utility costs.
Asking for help is extremely difficult, but I am doing everything possible to rebuild stability for my children. Every donation, regardless of the amount, will help us move closer to a safe home and prevent the loss of the transportation we depend on. If you cannot donate, sharing our fundraiser would mean just as much. Thank you for reading our story and helping our family through this emergency.
