Life has thrown my little family more challenges than I ever imagined, but we refuse to give up.

Last year, I lost my mom because of someone else's addiction. It was a heartbreaking loss that changed my life forever. During that time, I struggled to keep up with school and ended up failing a class that I now have to retake.

After overcoming addiction and working hard to rebuild my life, I'm now pursuing a degree in Human Services so I can help others find hope and recovery, just like I did.

Right now, we're facing an incredibly difficult financial season. I'm working hard to stay in school while raising Chandler, but unexpected expenses have piled up. Every day, I'm doing everything I can to create a stable, loving future for my son. I would also really like to be more present in my older son's life, and in order to do so I need reliable transportation to get us back and forth.

Chandler absolutely loves swimming, and it's become one of his favorite activities. More than that, learning to swim is an important life skill. I would love to be able to keep him in swimming lessons, but right now it's simply out of reach financially.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us stay on our feet and keeps me moving toward my goal of graduating, supporting Chandler, and giving back to my community by helping others overcome addiction and find hope.
