This fundraiser will be used to purchase a mobility scooter for a Veteran who is losing strength in his legs and having great difficulty walking. Unfortunately this particular mobility scooter is considered a luxury by the VA, and even private insurance because it can support up to 350 Pounds and can be folded to fit into the back or trunk of any vehicle and would not require the installation of carrier on the back of the vehicle. This scooter is also compact enough to use in an apartment without taking up too much space and more economical. This device would be a real game changer and provide the opportunity to get around better.
