Help Buy a Home for A Child's Village Child Development Center!

Hi everyone! My name is Autumn Hyatt and I'm the Founder & Director of A Child's Village CDC. Born and raised in Greenville, SC, I attended Greenville Technical Charter High School (Class of 2015) and completed my undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire (Class of 2020). The very first ideas of what are now known as A Child's Village were formed as an early intervention project as a part of my Education minor. The vision has held steady - not only in my head, but in my heart. Since 2022, I have dedicated my time and energy to developing A Child's Village, furthering my education in the field of early childhood, and searching for a location to bring my dream to reality. It has taken three years, but the perfect home for A Child's Village has become available! And now, with the help of my wonderful community, I have the opportunity to not only live out my dreams, but also change the lives of the young children and families in my hometown.

At A Child's Village Child Development Center, our mission is to provide all children and families, regardless of financial circumstance, with high quality environments, care, and resources that allow for optimal growth and development during the critical period of birth through age 5. With your help, I aim to raise the necessary down payment to secure a dedicated space for A Child’s Village, a place that will offer an enriching, high-quality early childhood education program, vital support services, and a sense of community for young children and their families. Your contribution will lay the foundation for a campus that fosters community, compassion, and courage, ultimately empowering the next generation to reach their full potential.
