Help After Dog Attack
Hello Everyone,
A few weeks ago, my apartment manager (Patti) was out walking her little dog (Rocky) when he was suddenly attacked by a much larger, meaner dog. This dog was being walked "off leash", on a public street. The attacking dog bit down on Rockys back and would not release him. It took 5 to 6 minutes before Rocky could be freed from the jaws of this vicious animal. Patti was bitten, covered in blood and hysterical, as you might imagine. Rocky was rushed to the pet hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. It took over 150 stitches to close the wounds on his back. Plus three days of hospital care. Fortunately, he did not seem to have any internal organ damage.
The person responsible for this will not help with the bills or even return phone calls.
Patti is a senior citizen living on Social Security. She drives an old beat up Hyundai. The veterinarian bills of over $3,800 (so far) amount to a LOT of money for her. She needs help, and I am trying to help her. She would never ask for help on her own, so I am giving this a try.
If you can afford to help, any amount you could donate will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your time and generosity. God bless you!
Gary
