Help An Airman Out
Help An Airman Out
A single mother and Airman is in need of emergency funds.
My friend is a ridiculously hard working Airman in the United States Air force, and is also a single mother of 2. One of her children has cancer, and is in constant need of medication and doctor visits. Currently she is deployed overseas serving our country. She works 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week supporting her fellow Airman in one of the most important positions possible. Not only is she a hard worker, she is also a loving and worried mother. Currently her children are being looked after by a nanny in the states while she is serving overseas.
Emergency Situation
Here is where the emergency comes in. Due to the type of Internet service provided where she is located, she at one point was forced to have a friend access her bank account in order to pay emergency medical bills during a 3 month episode her child that has cancer was having. Due to the IP address being different from her own, her bank locked her out of her account. This left her with no access to any of her own money that she used to support herself overseas, and that she used to send money over to the nanny in order to support her children and pay for bills. She is unable to regain access of her bank account unless she goes to the actual bank located in the states to provide verification of her identity. Also, due to not having access to her account she has no way of paying for her travels back to the states. It has left her in a predicament I wouldn't wish on my enemy. Having to rely on what little friends she has, due to not having any other family, for scraps of cash, only for it to be just enough to feed her children. This has caused so many issues with bills, and especially her child's health. There have been days her kids, herself, and the nanny, have gone without food or medication because she was unable to to get any help. This has been going on for a year now, and we have yet to be able to get her the help she needs.
The money that is donated towards this cause will go toward helping her to get home so she can access her account and be able to provide for her children. If you are able to donate we would wholeheartedly be eternally grateful.
