Hi! My name is Ariela Gomez and I am a senior majoring in psychology with a minor in chemistry at UTEP. I am excited to announce that I was selected to participate in the UT Archer Fellowship Program – a program that helps students live and learn in Washington, D.C. Fellows are selected from UT system universities across Texas and I will be representing UTEP in fall 2018.
I will be enrolled in 15 hours of in-residence credit, while also interning full-time with an organization in D.C. The estimated cost of this program is around $12,900. Below is the breakdown:
Program Fee: $4,900
Housing (no meals): $4,500
Transportation while in D.C. (Metro, bus): $500
Meals (groceries/dining out): $2,000
Entertainment/weekend trips/miscellaneous: $1,000
Total: $12,900
