I’m asking for help for my sister, who is facing an urgent housing emergency and is trying desperately to avoid eviction.

She is a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma studying Museum Studies and has been out of work this summer. She has been actively looking for work and has also been taking whatever small jobs she can find, including cleaning and gardening, to put money toward her rent. Unfortunately, those jobs have not brought in enough to cover what she owes.

Her apartment has told her that she needs to make a payment by Monday (9/28/26) or she could lose her home. Right now, she needs to raise $1,000 to make that payment and keep a roof over her head while she continues looking for steady work.

This is a really difficult and frightening situation for her, and we are doing everything we can to help. If you can contribute even $5 or $10, it would genuinely help. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this fundraiser could make an enormous difference in helping us reach people who can.
