Help beat disease 4 LOVE

SUMMARY:

Adora and Zen are- no exaggeration- best friends and business partners destined to be together. The magic between us is written in the stars, and so palpable that family, friends, clients, and strangers comment on the strength of our love; whether holding space in sacred ceremonies together or teaching or performing on stage, our magic is felt! Now, we are so excited to be getting married!!! And our greatest desire for the celebration of our union is for us to buy our first home together! The biggest obstacle in making this happen right now, though, is Zen's diseases that leave him bedridden a lot of times... thus unable to bring in the income that we need. We have so many beautiful goals and services to help as many people as possible, but we need a bridge to help us make that happen. We ask for your support in sharing about and donating to this fundraiser for our wedding, home purchase, honeymoon adventure, career upleveling, and lifestyle changes for medical + spiritual purposes. We need your help to rise above the severe hardships of chronic illness to help us make our dreams come true.

WHY WE ARE ASKING FOR HELP:

Life for us has been so filled with beauty, and we have also trudged through thick hellscapes of suffering, both individually and together. Zac, or 'Zen' (as named by friends in AZ) is in his early 30s, and since childhood has struggled with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, fibromyalgia, arthritis, fusing vertebrae, and pinched nerves, including carpal tunnel syndrome and more in the neck, legs, and arms. At its worst for about 15 years, he has been battling the onslaught of daily chronic pain, flare-ups, mobility limitations, digestive issues, tinnitus, muscle tearing and over-tightening, nerve sensitivities and misfires, and medical trauma from his connective tissue disorders. The intensity and longevity of these conditions have resulted in extreme emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual anguish (and trauma) for himself and his loved ones. He feels emasculated... imprisoned in a shell of a body. Despite having tried nearly every single holistic health, homeopathy, and western+eastern medicine practices, he still currently experiences a dynamic disability that has drastically limited his ability to make enough income to survive in this economy. This includes practicing yoga so much that he became a yoga teacher after a decade of caregiving (which was fulfilling, but became too physically taxing). After studying and practicing true hatha yoga (and much more), he was inspired by Adora to invest the last of his money in Yoga Teacher Training, investing in a new future where he could still help others while helping his own physical body. Having always been an audiophile, he desired to play music more in life, but he didn't allow himself to truly pursue this path of his heart because of deeply ingrained beliefs that the only way to make enough money to live was by forcing and self-betrayal, which ultimately just broke his body down harder and faster. Zen studied anything and everything (especially during flare-ups when possible) to help improve his health, and became familiar with the ancient practices of sound + frequency therapy and healing. After finally listening to his heart's calling, he invested the last of his money in a Native American Double flute, and soon became locally well-known for his yoga classes and immersive, transformative sound healings (with Adora alongside him the whole way). In 2023 & 2024, while still living in Arizona, he experienced several episodes of extreme heat illness (nearly requiring hospitalization), basically leaving him bedridden for the entire summers until earning enough money to travel to stay with family out of state and out of the heat. His two children and their mothers live in AZ, otherwise, he would take the doctor's strong advice to move out of state permanently, due to his severe heat sensitivity. This illness has stolen so much from him already, despite constant troubleshooting and study. He just wants to provide for his family and live some shadow of a regular life. Living nomadically and in an RV would provide a solution to this and many other obstacles to living a normal life, which is all he even wants anymore.

Adora is in her late 20s and, after putting herself through college to earn a master's degree in sustainability, is struggling immensely to keep up with student loan payments, rising inflation, caregiving for her Beloved, and supporting 2 people on 1 person's income at most times. Even though they have given every ounce of themselves to be of service to their community, families, and for the greater good of our planet, they are battling burnout and need help to rejuvenate their inner and outer resources. Our struggles do not solely define us, yet we are exhausted from trying to make our monthly bills on time, managing chronic pain, trying to pay for medical expenses that insurance won't cover, all while trying to save up for the wedding, home, and honeymoon that we truly dream of having.  We don't want it to be this way anymore, and that is why we are asking for your help. Because we know that we aren't alone in our struggles, but we don't have to continue to try to dig ourselves out of surviving solely by ourselves. We have community, we have support, we have the light of humanity with us and all around us, and so we are calling upon the highest of good in you, dear human, to spread the Love. Whether it's $1 or $1,000+, we appreciate your kind donation so much, as every dollar counts and helps us get one step closer to making our dream become a reality!!!

OUR VISION:

Here is what you will be contributing to with your donation: thank you so much!!

We want a *very* intimate wedding ceremony; basically just immediate family included (25 guests or less). A simple gathering at the beach in the summer of 2026 on the coast of Southern California, surrounded by loved ones and saying "I Do" with our feet in the ocean!

The main reason we are choosing to have such a small wedding is because we want to put alllllll our resources into our wedding gift... our first home!!! The home we want to buy is on wheels; an RV! We dream of owning a 25-34ft long class C RV, and plan to buy pre-owned to help save on initial investment. Depending on how much money we raise, our second option for our home-on-wheels is to buy a pre-owned truck (4 door, 1 ton+, V8 or diesel) and trailer (25-34 ft).

For our honeymoon, it is our DREAM to travel the entire Pacific Northwest coast highway in our RV home, from Southern California to northern Washington!! Ideally, we would start in Southern CA after the wedding in August 2026 and end in Washington in October.

After our honeymoon, we plan to travel the states in our home-on-wheels to share our healing services (including yoga, sound therapy, teaching meditation, shamanic ceremonies, and much more) and also explore spaces for our future dream homestead land! We plan to expand our traveling business into Oregon, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, and some areas on the East Coast!

We are currently living a pretty nomadic lifestyle to accommodate current circumstances, and having an RV would help us live more comfortably, freely, and give us greater opportunity to expand our business, plus our ability to support ourselves physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We are true to our word, and once we have our wedding ceremony, honeymoon, and RV, we promise to share photos of our adventures and blessings from your generous resources provided to us. If you are interested, we are also happy to share our recordings of meditations + sound healings so that you may receive healing benefits as well.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to make our DREAM BECOME A REALITY!!!!

Our budget for the ceremony is $1,000-2,000

Our budget for the honeymoon is $4,000-5,000 [gas, food, campground costs++ for ~2 months)

Our budget for our wedding gift (RV or truck+trailer) is $26,000

Our budget for home (RV) maintenance is $10,000 [repairs, fluids, mechanic shop costs, etc for first 6-12 months]

Our budget for medical expenses in disease management is $7,000 [non-insured bodywork, medicine, and treatment costs for ~12 months]

OUR STORY:

It may be cliché but they say, "when you know, you Know." This is true to the core with this couple! Adora and Zen met in 2021 and became best friends instantly. They went through yoga teacher training together, then seamlessly began hosting healing workshops and medicine ceremonies together. Their deep, nourishing, wholesome friendship blossomed into more, and they committed to each other romantically in October 2022. Since then, Adora & Zen have been living a more nomadic lifestyle, traveling between states to share their healing services, live with various family members, and camp in nature. They have a shared vision and purpose in life to be of service as shamans, medicine keepers, artists, and musicians! Countless clients have shared with them that they are "born to do this work together" and that their healing circles have "completely changed my life" and that one day their magic is "going to be world-renowned!" and together, they have touched the lives of hundreds of people. They've supported one another through immense inner healing, crises, and major lifestyle changes, including borderline homelessness/living out of their car, healing CPTSD from intense childhood + adulthood traumas, the rollercoaster ride of chronic illness, and building a business as entrepreneurs together.  As best friends, business partners, life partners, and lovers, Adora & Zen are committed eternally to their Sacred Divine Union. In April 2023, Zen officially proposed to Adora under the full moonlight in the most organic, heartfelt, and intimate way. Again in May 2024, Zen proposed to Adora in a romantic and dreamy walk on the pier, while playing music and overlooking the ocean! They are excited to walk hand in hand together for lifetimes, and renew their commitment to one another every single year to honor their evolution, growth, and ever-changing lives. Zen and Adora are unshakably devoted to their Love, families, community, and to being of service together to support the collective consciousness in the liberation of suffering for a more whole, compassionate, and thriving existence.
