I was assaulted by a student and can't continue teaching in the way I have for 20+ years. I want to continue to impact students. I am working on books that are high interest for older students while using easier vocabulary. This will encourage older students to read without having to choose “childish” looking books or struggle with vocabulary that is too frustrating. As this is a new path, the setup costs, illustrations and production costs are a barrier. I would appreciate any support in my efforts to continue to teach.
