Hi, my name is bubba Jorgensen. I had my son, carter on April 2nd of this year. Within the first day of his life, he was grunting, throwing up, wouldn't eat, and couldn't poop. He was taken by ambulance to primary children's hospital, where later in the week after many tests was diagnosed with hirschsprungs disease. This disease is nasty. He was basically born with a dead section in his colon. He CANNOT poop on his own. He has had one surgery and 21 cm of his colon taken out. But unfortunately this was not enough. Carter still cannot poop and we are having to give him 3-4 rectal irrigations a day. ( so hard to do by myself, poop everywhere) the doctors here just tell us to keep waiting, but id the surgery was a success he would have been pooping a long time ago. So we found a specialist in Ohio. We are flying out January 23rd to hopefully meet our hero doctor. Carter may have to have surgery. He is getting put under and they are going to run a lot of tests. Cody has to leave work and we will have no income. We will be making multiple trips there and we need help financially! All we want for christmas is to help our little boy be able to poop. My heart breaks everyday for him. And I know he deserves better. Please, anything helps
